The House narrowly passed a massive $1 trillion spending bill that interestingly, didn't split down party lines. On the GOP side, 67 opposed it. In 2008, West Point graduate Sam Brown was deployed to Afghanistan. His vehicle hit an IED, causing third degree burns to 30% of his body – mostly places his body armor did not cover. His long road to recovery has included more than 30 surgeries. Recently, Sam and his wife were promised a new home through the charity organization, Home for a Hero. After a long ordeal, they came to realize that their dream home would not be built. Samuel Adams and Paul Revere entombed a copper box in the cornerstone of the Massachusetts state capitol building back in 1795, and it was recently discovered by some contractors working on a water leak. The box was originally stumbled upon back in 1855, but was left in place. There are allegedly some coins and newspapers inside - but is there something more significant waiting to be discovered?
