House Passes $1.1T Spending Bill; Neither Party Pleased

Republicans muscled a $1.1 trillion bill funding government through the House after President Obama phoned Democrat lawmakers urging them to back the measure, the AP reports. The controversial bill, passed late Thursday, finances government through September. Dems don't like it because it waters down Dodd-Frank. Politico reveals conservatives feel the GOP fumbled their first shot to undercut Obama's immigration actions.
