The head of the Spokane branch of the NAACP and a leader of the black community lied for years about her race, claiming she was black when in fact she was born to two white parents. Critics have come out and attacked Dolezal, but thankfully the progressives at MSNBC, like Melissa Harris-Perry, have come to her defense. If we as a society accept Caitlyn Jenner's status as transgender, why don't we accept that someone can be transracial?
