About Net Security: Compromised Web Sites Spreading Malware

It was discovered that more than 10,000 web sites have been compromised by a new threat which is infecting vulnerable machines with malware. These sites are not seedy, malicious sites, but normal, every day sites that people visit. Somehow attackers have managed to compromise the sites so that when users visit the sites malware is automatically downloaded.
