FaceTime exposes customer contact data on its Web site, 08/08/07: Instant messaging security vendor FaceTime Communications confirmed Wednesday that programming errors caused customer contact information to be exposed on its Web site. Study: Search engine privacy policies improving, 08/08/07: Search-engine providers have begun to compete with each other on privacy protections, but the U.S. still needs to adopt a national privacy law, says a report from the Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT).
