The summer of spam: record growth, record irritation, 08/16/07: There is 17% more spam heading for in-boxes today than there was yesterday, and spam watchers say it could get even worse before the summer is over.

Spam surge sways stock market, 08/13/07: Last week saw the Internet's biggest-ever spam surge in a single day, and also offered a lesson on why "pump and dump" stock-market spam campaigns have become so prevalent, according to Postini.

Unusual pump-and-dump spam run continues, 08/13/07: More spam made its way to inboxes Monday touting a small Florida company first hit by a massive pump-and-dump spam scam last week. The company has denied any responsibility for the junk mail that drove up its stock price, and said it will look at stockholder data in the hope that it can uncover who was behind the scheme.

U.K. mobile users don't hate spam, says survey, 08/10/07: About one-third of U.K. mobile users don't seem to mind receiving spam on their phone, according to a recently published report. And a surprisingly high 11% bought products as a result of receiving spam.

Making sure you're not a source of spam, 08/13/07: I would like to be able to check if our mail IP is spamming or not. we are using Microsoft Exchange for mailing. I want to make sure that we aren't a source of spam to avoid situations that could cause problems with our sending e-mail.
