DON'T BEG FOR THAT JOB, EVEN IF YOU WANT IT

Careers: While most job hunters approach employers "like a dog with a
note in its mouth," Nick Corcodilos says that approach is not becoming
and doesn't work. "This begging mentality is all wrong. You're not
looking for a favor. You're offering to do a favor. To solve some
manager's problem. So, behave accordingly," he writes in Do a favor; get
