Friday: Remembering Newtown six months later

Organizing for Action
Joe --

It's been nearly six months since a gunman walked into Sandy Hook Elementary School and took the lives of 20 students and six adults.

This was a tragedy that shook the entire country -- and millions of Americans wanted to see Congress act to make our communities safer.

But they've failed.

They need to know we have not forgotten, and we're not going away -- not just for those 26 brave people who died that day, but for the more than 4,800 Americans we've lost to gun violence since.

In honor of the six-month anniversary of the Newtown shootings, join OFA supporters in New York on Friday to remember the families who've been torn apart by gun violence and demand better of our lawmakers.

RSVP to say you'll be there. Here are the details:

What: Join supporters in New York to fight to reduce gun violence

Where: City Hall Park
New York, NY 10007

When: Friday, June 14th
1:00 pm
