Friday in Staten Island: Keep up the drumbeat for immigration reform

Organizing for Action
Joe --

We spent Action August building momentum for comprehensive immigration reform.

OFA volunteers were out in their communities holding rallies, passing out flyers, and hosting hundreds of grassroots events at district offices. It's not a coincidence that several members of Congress have come around and endorsed a comprehensive approach to reform.

Let's give one more big push to close out this month of action, before our representatives finish their congressional recess.

We're holding an event in Staten Island. Can we count you in?

Yes, I'm in.

No, I can't make it that day, but I care about this work, and I'll make a donation to support this movement.

Here are the details:

What: Congressional send-off for immigration reform in Staten Island

Where: 161 Port Richmond Avenue
Staten Island, NY 10302

When: Friday, September 6th
6:30 pm

RSVP now

The Senate has already done its job -- a bipartisan vote passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill back in June. Now it's on the House of Representatives to show the same kind of leadership.

We've never been closer to passing a fair and smart solution for immigrants, their families, and our country.

Commit to attend an immigration reform event in Staten Island on Friday:
