Saturday in Chicago: Join a phone bank for immigration reform

Organizing for Action
Joe --

We're coming up on an important anniversary in the fight for immigration reform.

On June 27th, it will be one year since a bipartisan majority in the Senate passed comprehensive reform -- and one whole year of House leaders sitting on their hands, holding our country back.

Later this month, we'll be holding events to make sure Speaker Boehner and House leadership know how necessary reform is -- and OFA supporters are coming together for a phone bank this Saturday, June 14th, in Chicago to get the word out.

Can you join in? Here are the details:

What: Immigration reform event in Chicago

Where: 3420 N Southport Ave
Chicago, IL 60657

When: Saturday, June 14th
4:00 pm

RSVP now

This inaction is costing us -- they could pass the bill now, but they won't even allow a vote. They could create hundreds of thousands of jobs and reduce the deficit by billions, but they refuse to do their jobs. Every single day that goes by, inaction by House leaders costs our economy $37 million dollars. Every single day.

That's why we need to turn up the pressure -- we want everyone in Chicago who cares about immigration reform to come out and make their voices heard for this anniversary.

Join volunteers at the phone bank in Chicago on Saturday, and help reach out to other OFA supporters.
