The CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development  is conducting a NABET accredited integrated Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management  Systems (EHSMS) Lead Auditors Course designed to provide both technical knowledge and practical skills essential for an EHS auditor to carry out EHS audits. The programme also touches upon EHS regulatory requirements and subsequently helps participants in strengthening their compliance system.

The course is being organised at on 22-26 June 2015 at Hyderabad. Venue will be intimated to the participants shortly.

Objective of the Training

In-house Training

To save cost and time, we conduct in-house training programme for two/three companies with 20 participants at a common venue. (to know more on date and fee details, please contact CII).

This training programme covers the fundamental concepts of:

·       Familiarizing the participants with various aspects and basics of Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (EHSMS) as per ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007

·       Design and development of Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (EHSMS) based on P-D-C-A approach

·       Enhancing the auditing skills for Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (EHSMS) as per the guidelines of ISO 19011:2011

·       Enabling the trained professionals to effectively manage the EHS legislation and other EHS issues of their respective organization

·       The Lead Auditors Certificate shall be provided to the participants on successful completion of the 5 days training course and qualifying the exam.

The major elements of the course providing both knowledge and practical skills essential to an EHS auditor are:

·          EHSMS Basics

·          Introduction to the ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001

·          Implementing EHSMS as per ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007

·          Introduction to EHS Management System Auditing

·          EHSMS Planning Techniques

·          Auditors Qualifications - ISO 19011:2011 & EHS Auditing Principles as per ISO 19011:2011

·          EHSMS Requirements: The "Plan- Do-Check-Act" Elements of the PDCA Cycle

·          EHS Legislation in India

·         A pre-course Material will be provided to those participants who confirm their registration and submit the program fee. This material shall include Standard Copy of ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 & ISO 19011:2011, along with a Pre course Questionnaire.

·         The programme is non residential, and prior registration & payment of delegate fee before the Conference is a must

·         Participation fee is non-refundable. However, change in nomination is acceptable and the online registration is a must for changed nominations.
