Free to Chat Without NSA Tracking (for Now); Rand Paul Pile-On

In a remarkable turnaround, the AP reports Senate Republicans agreed, Sunday night, to debate a House bill that would overhaul the National Security Agency's handling of Americans' calling records while preserving other domestic surveillance provisions, though not soon enough to prevent the lapsing of some legal authorities at midnight. The Rand Paul pile-on session commenced almost immediately for the GOP, according to Politico.
