| | | | | This amazing strawberry shortcake is what I'm dreaming of making today, as we wrap up processing 50 lbs of u-pick strawberries (the local patch went chemical free this year - how could we not go crazy?). The freezer is full of berries, jam has been made, and our fingers are stained pink. Such begins the month of June. This is the first of what I hope will be a once-per-month newsletter, filled with homestead happenings, special discounts/offers, news, and more. If you have something you'd like to see in this newsletter, simply reply to this email and let me know! | | | Looking for some radical homestead inspiration? Here are some blog posts perfect for June: | | | | I'm thrilled to welcome a few new sponsors this month. The first of which is Homestead Store, who makes the most amazing laundry drying racks! I've been using their Homesteader model for our family of four! | | | | For many years we co-owned a Happy Valley Cider Press, so I'm so happy to have them as a Homestead Honey sponsor. Their cider presses are simply the best. We had an amazing time at our wedding open house pressing cider with their American Harvester! | | | | We also welcome back EcoJarz, makers of totally awesome stainless steel mason jar lids and other accessories, Backwoods Solar, from whom we purchased our entire off-grid solar electric system, and Blue Lotus Chai, who makes the most amazing chai tea in the whole wide world. | | | | | | |
