States Consider Obamacare Bailouts The Hill reports several states are exploring their options to save their ObamaCare subsidies, if the Supreme Court rules against the law this month. Two states — Pennsylvania and Delaware — said this week they would launch their own exchanges, if needed, using pieces of the federal exchange, like its website and call center. Other states have indicated they will buy ObamaCare technology from the federal government. A multi-state exchange — an option buried in ObamaCare's text that has recently seen resurgence — could also cut costs. Half a dozen Republican governors and several Southern states have ruled out creating a state-based exchange, including Florida Gov. Rick Scott and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, viewing it as bailing out a politically toxic program.
