IT AND WIRELESS STILL SEPARATED, BUT TALKS ONGOING
SAN FRANCISCO - In the halls of the Moscone Convention Center during the
CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment conference, it's easy to
imagine that all businesspeople are always connected over fast networks
using attractive and powerful devices. So why are only six percent of
businesses surveyed by McKinsey & Co. working on plans to roll out
phones and other wireless devices by 2008?

MOBILE PHONE SECURITY STANDARDS COMING NEXT YEAR

PRODUCT GUIDE: CONTROL BREAK SAFEBOOT DEVICE ENCRYPTION 4.2
This full-disk encryption product is primarily designed for protecting a
laptop or PDA that could be lost or stolen. It will prevent anyone from
using the device or retrieving data on it but doesn't protect against
intrusions while the machine is in use. If you must have full-disk
encryption as a matter of corporate policy, this is a better choice than
SafeGuard.
