Mon May 21 19:27:20 2007 Initializing gdbm databases
Mon May 21 19:27:20 2007 Now running as requested user 'nobody'
(65534:65534)
Mon May 21 19:27:20 2007 **FATAL_ERROR** ....open of
/var/lib/ntop/prefsCache.db failed: File open error
Mon May 21 19:27:20 2007 1. Is another instance of ntop running?
Mon May 21 19:27:20 2007 2. Make sure that the use you specified can
write in the target directory
tomfi# ls -ls /var/lib/ntop/prefsCache.db
14 -rw-r--r-- 1 ntop ntop 12849 May 2 2006 /var/lib/ntop/prefsCache.db
the row with FATAL_ERROR say something about error opening dbfile .. so
I looked on this file, and I see that file owner is ntop:ntop ... but
ntop runs as user 'nobody'(it is writed on row before the
FATAL_ERROR)... so there is my problem ... for example :)
