IBM begins another wave of SOA releases, 09/26/07: IBM released service-oriented architecture products for integrating software applications and improving business processes, and said more customers are starting to understand the SOA concept.

IBM: Symphony downloaded 100,000 times in first week, 09/26/07: People apparently are already tuning in to IBM's Symphony. The company reported Wednesday that its free rival to Microsoft's Office suite was downloaded 100,000 times in the first week of release.

Security holes expose data stored in Tivoli system, 09/24/07: IBM has issued a warning to customers that security fixes should be installed for two vulnerabilities in the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) backup software client. The security holes could allow a buffer overrun attack or enable unauthorized access to stored data, IBM said.
