Microsoft Office Web Apps still cloaked in mystery Microsoft Monday shed little light on its forthcoming Office Web Applications, which were announced nine months ago, leaving more questions about the depth of features, their integration with Office on the desktop, how they would run inside a corporate network, and how they stack up to online alternatives. Microsoft Office 2010: A Simple FAQ Microsoft is expanding its horizons with its newly revealed Office 2010 software suite. The updated Office will be available in two separate formats: a traditional PC-based edition and a completely Web-based version. Both products are expected to be released in the first half of 2010. Q4 tracking nicely for Cisco: analyst Lazard Capital Markets is rating Cisco a "buy" just weeks before it closes its books for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2009. Cisco's fiscal year ends late this month and it will report its results in the first week of August.
