Fujitsu unveils its latest color e-paper screen
Fujitsu this week unveiled the latest color electronic paper display prototype to come from its labs. The screen is about a third brighter than a previous model due to changes in its construction and has a higher contrast. It also writes information on the screen at about double the speed. Fujitsu's Plasma Tube Array screen bends around corners
A new type of display that can be curved around walls or pillars is on display in Tokyo this week. The screen is a Plasma Tube Array in which hundreds of millimeter-high plasma tubes are arranged one after another.
