	Juniper to unveil programmable core switch for software-defined networking Juniper Networks is readying a new programmable core switch to address software-defined networking in campuses and data centers. Sources say it is called the EX9200 and is based on the MX router. It comes in three configurations: 4-slot, 8-slot and 14-slot chassis, the same form factors as the company's successful MX 240, 480 and 960 routers for enterprises and service providers.
