Joe -- One of my all-time favorite OFA traditions is the "reply-all" email chain during Days of Action, where staff from around the country send in updates -- tweets, photos, quotes, and videos -- to amplify the best events going on around the country. This month, during Action August, I want to give you a snapshot into what that chain looks like for every big day of action -- just imagine me sitting in front of my computer, looking like this: OFA-IL volunteers rallied in Springfield to demand action on immigration reform from Rep. Aaron Schock -- and the very next day, he announced his support for an earned pathway to citizenship: In Chantilly, Virginia, volunteers got together to let Rep. Frank Wolf know they supported comprehensive immigration reform: In Houston, volunteers demanded that Rep. Ted Poe move beyond his inflammatory statements about immigrants and recognize that reform is good for the economy: And a bonus pic -- it was all hands (and paws) on deck in Virginia: There are literally hundreds of emails in my inbox from events just like this all across the country -- I wish I could share them all. Don't worry -- if you weren't able to be a part of it this week, that doesn't mean you'll have to sit out the next one.
