Congress is going to be busy when they come back to Washington next month -- or at least they ought to be.

Americans want to see both parties work together to grow the economy from the middle out, and there's a lot our leaders in Congress can do right now to help.

From raising the minimum wage, to fighting for paycheck fairness, to helping make college more affordable, take your pick. All could help millions of Americans right now.

Take our one-question poll and weigh in: What do you think is the most important thing Congress can do right now for the economy?

Things are heading in the right direction.

We've seen 53 straight months of job growth, during which American businesses have added almost 10 million jobs to the economy. In the first six months of 2014, we created 200,000 jobs per month -- the first time that's happened since 1997.

That's good, but it's not enough. We need to build an economy that works for all Americans, and need leaders in Congress to stop blocking progress.

So before Congress heads back to Washington, take OFA's quick poll and weigh in on what should be at the top of their agenda:
