Cisco has a big UCS launch coming
On Sept. 4, Cisco will launch 'the most significant portfolio expansion' of its Unified Computing System (UCS) since the data center/cloud platform debuted in 2009. One of the things we're expecting is the quietly announced 6324 Fabric Interconnect for a smaller scale "mini UCS" that curiously lacks connectivity to Cisco's latest Application Centric Infrastructure fabric innovation.
