| The latest Rasmussen Reports Generic Congressional Ballot has Democrats and Republicans tied when voters are asked which party they would vote for if the election were held today. Democrats held a three-point lead the week before, but that was the first time they had led on the Generic Ballot since late July. The generic congressional ballot has been close all year, though, with the parties separated by two points or less most weeks. During that time, unaffiliated voters have tended to side more with the GOP. | | |
