| | A Tribute To Leonard Nimoy This past week, we lost a giant. Actor Leonard Nimoy passed at the age of 83. While I am very much a fan of his portrayal of Mr. Spock on Star Trek and a bit of a Trekkie myself (no, not a Trekker but a Trekkie who absolutely prefers the original series over any later versions) for me his most important role was as the host of the classic TV series In Search Of... Yes, to our 2015 eyes conditioned by HD and high-tech histrionics this 1970's era program may appear dated and a bit campy but for many, including me, it was our introduction to Fortean subjects. It is quite likely had it not been for Mr. Nimoy and ISO that I'd never developed the passion for the paranormal that led my down this unique career path. So, I thank "Spock" for his immense contribution as a human which is ironic seeing his greatest role was that of a Vulcan/Human hybrid. Lest I repeat it for the millionth time this weekend, wherever you are Leonard Nimoy may you Live Long and Prosper. ---- This week's Paranormal Report includes our reflections on the passing of Leonard Nimoy. You can find it HERE. | | | WHAT ARE THESE LIGHTS Two strange lights have been discovered by NASA on the dwarf planet Ceres. Are they simply reflections of ice or an alien outpost? Check out this very interesting report from reporter Susanne Brunner in Arkansas which focuses on eyewitnesses of the local legend which was the inspiration for The Legend Of Boggy Creek!
