Iran Reneges on Key Detail; Defector Says US Doing Iran's Bidding

With a deadline for a nuke deal just two days away, Iran reneged on a key provision. Previously, Iran was said to be willing to ship parts of its uranium stockpile to Russia where it would not be available to any future weapons program. On Sunday, Iran ruled out that possibility, reports the New York Times, insisting that the material would remain under their control.
