The vast majority of Android phones can be hacked by sending them a specially crafted multimedia message (MMS), a security researcher has found.The scary exploit, which only requires knowing the victim's phone number, was developed by Joshua Drake, vice president of platform research and exploitation at mobile security firm Zimperium. Google releases a cloud manager ready for the enterprise
Now enterprise administrators can catch a bit of the magic that Google seemingly uses to smoothly run large Web scale applications. The company has released a production-ready version its Kubernetes software that manages virtual containers. Kubernetes could be a cornerstone in an emerging approach to systems design, called micro-services, in which applications are broken into multiple components and packaged in virtual containers so they can be easily moved around or duplicated to handle heavy workloads.
