U.S. state welfare agency hit by breach, 09/12/07: Pennsylvania's Department of Public Welfare (DPW) plans to mail out letters to about 375,000 individuals in the state informing them of a data breach involving their personal data.

Cisco IOS command flaw: Cisco issued a security response to an IOS flaw that causes IOS devices to crash and reload after executing a command that uses either directly or indirectly, a regular expression.
