Yahoo shifts gears on mobile app
"Instead of launching an all-in-one app for general smart phones, what we'll do is continue focusing on the browser version and the iPhone app," Yahoo's mobile group marketing head Adam Taggart said. "We found that most smartphones have great browsers these days, and so we're finding that the experience we're able to provide in the browser is similar to the experience in an app."

Palm Pre to match iPhone pricing
As expected, Palm announced its pricing for the new Pre smartphone at $199 with two-year Sprint contract and $100 rebate, effectively matching Apple's iPhone price on AT&T. The new phone will be shipping June 6, just ahead of Apple's WWDC conference.
