ERICSSON, NAPSTER TEAM UP FOR MOBILE PHONE MUSIC

The world's biggest telecommunications equipment provider has teamed
up with popular Internet music service Napster LLC to make it simpler
for mobile phone operators to open up online music stores for their
customers. The two companies have developed a music downloading system
that operators can use to deliver full songs to their customers'
mobile phones, Ericsson and Napster said Wednesday.

The AX100i is truly a low-end iSCSI SAN solution. Initial setup and
normal administrative tasks are simple and straightforward, but key
components of an iSCSI SAN, such as jumbo-frame support, are missing. As
such, performance pales to local disk and other iSCSI storage networking
solutions. The performance seen in the lab suggests that this SAN is
suitable only for data archiving or file storage tasks.
