A combination of realistic-looking fake sites, gullible users, and gaps in computer security make phishing attacks an almost constant threat. If you receive an urgent notification from a bank or company that you do not even do business with, hopefully you would delete it without further thought. But, if the organizations you do business with are targeted by a phishing attack it can often be difficult for average users to tell the difference and avoid becoming a victim.
