Replying to a firestorm over language in its terms of use contract that appears to give the company license to silence critics, AT&T responds: "AT&T respects its subscribers’ rights to voice their opinions and concerns over any matter." The company says the language is needed to deal with child porn and those who advocate violence. Skeptics scoff, but AT&T seems in the right on this one.

The Federal Aviation Administration proposed all aircraft flying in the nation’s busiest airspace have to have satellite-based avionics by 2020, letting air traffic controllers track aircraft by satellites using a system known as Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B), which is 10 times more accurate than today’s radar technology.
