Happy Friday the 13th! I find it interesting that after making like 107 Friday the 13th movies and having Jason go to hell, Manhattan, outerspace and square off against Freddy Krueger they have decided to just start over and remake the original. I wonder if remakes of the other Jason movies will grace the screen in years to come as well? But, I digress. This week I posted a summary of the Microsoft Security Bulletins for February, a review of the 10th Anniversary edition of Hacking Exposed, and an explanation of two-factor authentication for those looking to improve their security. Conficker Worm Marches On (...and On...and On)
The Conficker worm, A.K.A. Downadup, continues to plague users around the world. The worm exploits a vulnerability that Microsoft addressed in October of 2008 with an emergency Security Bulletin released out of their normal 'Patch Tuesday' cycle.
