Following up on separate stories from earlier this year, we checked in recently with IntelePeer and VBrick for updates on their progress in 2009. IntelePeer recently launched a developer program to enable cloud-based applications with voice and communications features. And VBrick has unveiled the VBrick Enterprise Media System (VEMS), an integrated hardware and software system designed to distribute live or on-demand video and presentations for global enterprises. Native iPhone support ready for Lotus Domino
IBM/Lotus said next week it will ship the long-anticipated real-time access support for the iPhone on its Domino messaging platform. Lotus Domino support for the iPhone uses the Apple device's mail, calendar and contact application and synchronizes data between the two platforms in real time using Microsoft's ActiveSync protocol.

Lotus Domino adds native iPhone support
The latest version of IBM's Lotus Domino, set to be announced Tuesday, will natively support the Apple iPhone, allowing users to automatically synchronize e-mail, contacts and calendar data to the popular handset over the air.
