Next Monday: Help fight climate change

Organizing for Action
Joe --

President Obama talked about you a couple weeks ago.

On June 25th, he laid out his vision for a common-sense plan to combat and prepare for the impact of climate change -- all while putting American know-how and ingenuity to work for the same goals.

The President said: "What we need in this fight are citizens who will stand up, and speak up, and compel us to do what this moment demands."

That means us. It's on OFA supporters to get involved and keep the conversation going where we live.

There's a climate house party you should check out next Monday in New York -- RSVP today.

What: Join the climate house party in New York

Where: 301 E. 75th St.
New York, NY 10021

When: Monday, July 15th
7:00 pm

RSVP now

This August, while our members of Congress are home for their summer recess vacation, we'll press them to fight climate change. If they're ready to take it on, we'll tell them we've got their backs. If they're still denying the basic science behind it, we'll hold them accountable.

These house parties will be a big step to doing just that.

We'll learn more about the President's plan to combat climate change, and come up with ideas on how to spread the word.

And each party will help make plans for tackling climate change in your own community.

House parties are a lot of fun -- and you'll be doing your part to join the fight near you.
