Add your signature to say it's time to raise the wage:

Organizing for Action
Joe --

A week ago, 41 senators blocked a vote on a bill to raise the federal minimum wage.

It's hard to imagine how they can justify that to their constituents back home.

Maybe they think the current minimum wage -- which amounts to just $14,500 a year -- is enough to get by. Maybe they don't realize that 14 million children would benefit from raising the wage. Maybe it doesn't matter to them that seven in 10 Americans support it.

Whatever their excuses, they're on the wrong side of this, and OFA supporters aren't backing down from this fight.

We're collecting signatures on a nationwide petition to raise the minimum wage, and we want your signature. Will you sign it today?

Despite 41 senators standing in the way of progress on Capitol Hill, we have real momentum on this issue -- thanks to the hard work of organizers and allies across the country.

This year alone, five states, plus the District of Columbia, have already voted to raise the minimum wage, and dozens more are considering similar proposals right now.

That shows that these are fights that can be won. And as long as the cost of living -- rent, heating, food, transportation -- is going up, we owe it to millions of hard-working Americans to make sure their wages keep pace.

If you're on board, make your voice heard right now. Sign the petition to raise the minimum wage today:
