Tweet @SenatorDurbin and @SenatorKirk - your senators did the right thing

Organizing for Action
Joe --

It happened again.

A bipartisan majority in the Senate voted yesterday to fix the loophole created by the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby ruling that allows some for-profit corporations to interfere in a woman's health care decisions -- but it was blocked by a minority of senators who stood in the way.

This vote is as frustrating as it gets -- one more piece of evidence that some in Congress are more interested in scoring political points than helping working Americans. The only way it'll stop is when real Americans make their voices heard over the special interests.

Your senators stood up for women yesterday -- they deserve to be thanked for doing the right thing.

Tweet at Senators Richard Durbin and Mark Kirk and say you're proud they stood up to vote in support of a woman's right to make her own health care decisions.

Women should make personal health care decisions for themselves, rather than their bosses deciding for them -- it's as simple as that.

Yesterday's vote was a setback, but this fight isn't over. There are still champions in Congress working to find a solution that ensures a woman's ability to make her own health care decisions.

Those senators who did the right thing yesterday deserve to hear from us right now.
