Voters Stand Up for Religious Leaders Defending Their Faith

Houston's lesbian Mayor Annise Parker recently subpoenaed sermons, speeches and private communications by pastors in the city opposed to a proposed gay rights ordinance. This has prompted an angry response from advocates of religious freedom nationwide, and voters strongly agree that religious leaders standing up for the beliefs of their faith should not be subject to prosecution. What America Thinks

It's no secret that Americans are weary of big government, but have they had enough of the two major political parties as well? We decided to find out what America thinks. Right now, American voters don't really trust either major political party. Fewer than 40% believe that either party has a plan for where it wants to take the nation, and most feel confident in saying that neither Republicans nor Democrats are the party of the people. To the contrary, most voters think Washington's political class has simply lost touch with them.
