Securing and Hardening Linux Paper
------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY
The below linked paper provides you with the initial steps required to
harden your Linux system.
DETAILS
Introduction:
This paper is a step by step guide for securing your Linux Systems.
Linux is just another operating system like Windows, Mac, BSD etc. Linux
by default is not secured enough compared to Windows which is not secured
by default at all. Charalambous has decided to write this paper to give a
security prospective on the steps required to build a secure Linux System.
There is no such thing as a perfect or a completely secured operating
system. The purpose of this paper is to understand how you can at least
provide some kind of security to your system.
