Because it appears Cisco is unleashing a Valentine's Day gift marketing blitz, according to a report by Ira Pumfkin over at Tech Edge Weekly.

Avaya calculator shows how green your company is Avaya has launched an online energy saving calculator. Avaya isn't the first one try to position itself as a green network gear vendor. Nortel trailblazed that tactic, using its so called-energy calculator to more-or-less skewer Cisco. Nortel's tactic didn't particularly work, if you can judge by its bankruptcy.

Cisco fraud doesn't pay - even for the innocent Further evidence that crime against Cisco doesn't pay - even for those innocent souls unlucky enough to get caught up in Cisco fraud cases. Star Tribune has an interview with Steve Chicoine, former president of Interlink Communications who in December was exonerated in a case to defraud Cisco to the tune of $1 million. His ordeal had begun in 2002 when his office was raided by federal agents and ended last month when a jury found him not guilty.
