Two Cisco counterfeiters plead guilty

Two brothers have pled guilty in Texas of selling counterfeit Cisco gear to several federal agencies. Michael Edman, 38, and Robert Edman, 29, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Houston to one count each of trafficking in counterfeit goods, according to this story in the Texarkana Gazette. Read full story

Cisco issues patch for TCP bug
Cisco this week issued a patch for a denial of service vulnerability that affects multiple products. The bug was discovered last year by Outpost24, a Swedish provider of network security products.

HP puts the net pedal to the metal
Marius Haas is senior vice president and general manager of HP's ProCurve Networking business, which was recently aligned with the company's server, storage and services businesses under HP's Technology Solutions Group, creating an approximately $45 billion unit. Haas, who previously served as senior vice president of strategy and corporate development, is charged with shifting the network business into overdrive. Network World Editor in Chief John Dix caught up with Haas to talk about the market and his plans.

Executive pay, bonuses down at Cisco
In a filing with the SEC last week, Cisco said it would pay lower bonuses to company executives for fiscal 2009 because performance did not match or exceed 2008's results. Nonetheless, CEO John Chambers still pocketed $2 million.

Can anyone recommend the top performing Endpoint Security software for a small IT service company like mine? Does anyone use Kaseya.com or GFI.com? How do they compare to these guys I found recently: N-able N-central service desk
? What is your best take in cost vs performance among those three? I need a good advice please... Thanks in advance!
