The Physical Security Interoperability Alliance, a global consortium of physical security providers focused on promoting interoperability of IP-enabled devices in the security industry, has formed the Systems Working Group to promote interoperability across all technical segments of the industry.


 
Bloomberg reports that General Electric has retained JP Morgan Chase to find a buyer for its profitable security division. Citing anonymous sources, Bloomberg estimates the unit may sell for approximately $2 billion and identifies Tyco International and United Technologies Corp. as potential buyers.
