AT&T enabling wi-fi hotspot support for some iPhone users
When Apple COO Tim Cook and Verizon's Dan Mead officially announced the CDMA iPhone 4, one of the more pleasant surprises was that Verizon iPhone 4 owners would be able to use their device to create a wi-fi hotspot with support for up to 5 devices. A cool feature, to be sure, but one caveat is that because Verizon's CDMA network can't support concurrent voice and data, when a Verizon iPhone 4 receives a call, all connected devices will immediately be booted off line.
