The opportunity presented by vanity plates is so often wasted by those who would put their actual name on their car. Or worse, those who put the name of their car on their car – e.g. "MY BMW." IT job spotting: Top 20 metro areas for tech jobs
After two straight years of flat wages, tech pros finally got a salary bump in 2011. The average annual wage for technology and engineering pros climbed 2% to $81,327 last year, according to new data from Dice.com. In some areas, salaries jumped even higher.
