Tuesday in Brooklyn: Congress needs to hear from you

Organizing for Action
Joe --

Across the country on Tuesday, OFA supporters will be meeting up to make our voices heard.

We're sending a message to Speaker Boehner and the Tea Party Republicans who are sabotaging the economy: It's time that Congress stops the shutdown, pays our country's bills, and gets back to the work of the American people.

Can you join in?

Yes, I'll be there.

No, but I'll chip in to support more work like this.

Here are the details:

What: Budget shutdown Day of Action event in Brooklyn

Tuesday is the start of the third week of the government shutdown.

With every day that passes, these members of Congress need to feel more pressure from the constituents who sent them to Washington. Millions of Americans across the country are feeling the effects of the shutdown -- and it's only getting worse.

We're making our voices heard on Tuesday -- and you should be part of it in Brooklyn.
