Friday: Help support the EPA's proposed emissions standards

Organizing for Action
Joe --

Even though 40 percent of America's carbon pollution comes from power plants, there are currently no national rules limiting their emissions.

We can help change that.

President Obama and the EPA are proposing new emissions standards for power plants -- a big part of the major climate initiatives the President announced this summer.

To help make sure these measures move forward, we're holding a national Day of Action to show our support.

There's an event Friday in Chicago -- can you come and help out?

Yes, I'll be there.

Not this time, but I'll chip in to support more work like this.

Here are the details:

What: Climate Day of Action in Chicago

Where: 230 S. Dearborn Street
Chicago, IL 60604

When: Friday, November 8th
12:00 pm

RSVP now

You've probably heard that 97 percent of climate scientists agree that climate change is real, man-made, and dangerous.

Think about that. When that many people who devote their lives to studying this stuff agree, it's time to act.

Friday, OFA supporters will be collecting signatures of support for the new EPA regulations in Chicago. You should join in -- it's simple, fun, and most of all, important.

RSVP today to be part of this Day of Action:
