About last night, Joe

Joe --

Reflecting on last night's speech by the President, I'm reminded of a great quote by Bruce Springsteen.

The Boss, one of New Jersey's greatest sons, gave an interview a couple years ago where he said, "You can't have a United States if you are telling some folks that they can't get on the train."

It wasn't easy for me to decide to run for Senate, but I did it because like Bruce, President Obama, and so many of us, I believe that every child deserves a chance at success. I'm in D.C. to make sure every kid in New Jersey and every kid in America has a seat on the train, and I need your help.

If you're ready to get started, I hope you'll chip in $10 or more to support the Democratic candidates who are going to drive President Obama's agenda forward this year.

Last week as I toured New Jersey, I met so many families struggling to make ends meet -- families who are working hard to keep their jobs or find new ones, stay in their homes, keep their heads above water, and give their kids a chance for something better.

And the ideas that President Obama talked about last night -- growing the middle class, raising the minimum wage, renewing unemployment benefits, and protecting health care access for all -- they're how we continue to strengthen our promise to the people of New Jersey and those like them across the country.

If you're ready to stand with me, President Obama, and Democratic candidates fighting for the middle class, chip in $10 or more right now:
