No, it's actually pretty far from perfect, but that's essentially the vibe presented to the audience each year at the annual state of the union address. It's a total dog and pony show, with the President trying to say how peachy everything is while Congress takes turns sitting, standing and clapping. Glenn plans to cover the event accordingly tonight, using the mystery science theater approach. Oh, it's gonna be good. MORE

Jimmy Kimmel's made his "man on the street" interviews a highlight of his show, but last night's may have been one of the funniest (and saddest) of all time. You would think that everyone knows who Martin Luther King, Jr. is and the story of his life and death, right? Unfortunately, when people were asked if they saw the speech MLK gave this morning - SEVEN of the fourteen people asked said "Yes." Are you worried about America's future yet? WATCH

The case of Adnan Syed became a national obsession when it was chronicled in a 12-episode podcast entitled Serial. Syed was convicted of strangling his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee in 1999, when they were both seniors at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore County. The series Serial raised major questions as to whether Syed received a fair trial, or is in fact guilty. Former classmate Asia McClain's affidavit may hold a potential alibi for Syed. Too often heroes are lionized and presented as perfect people. We're all inherently flawed — if you don't believe that try dumping a bucket of toys in front of a group of 3 year olds and see what happens — even Martin Luther King, Jr. wasn't perfect. Still, despite the flaws, God raised him up and made him a great leader. How many people are willing to lead in spite of their imperfections? A lesson for us all — MORE.

The Story of King Barack and Robin Hood
Glenn tried something a little different on radio today. What do you do when people don't want to hear the truth? You turn it into a parable. So curl up with a blanket and some hot cocoa, and listen to the grim fairy-tale about a special king named Barack. WARNING: This story doesn't have a happy ending. As Glenn said, "Yeah, because they're meant to teach you a lesson." Can you figure out the moral to this story? READ

Agenda 21: Into the Shadows
Two years ago, Glenn and Harriet Parke introduced the national bestselling novel, AGENDA 21, about a future dystopian world in which America has given way to a place called "The Republic," and in which freedom has given way to a new singular cause: to create clean energy. Now the story continues with the thrilling sequel: AGENDA 21: INTO THE SHADOWS. Get caught up on the original book, or learn more about the sequel HERE.
