First, I reviewed the book 'Googling Security'. The book is not about social networking per se, but it is about how web search engines index data from the Internet- including your social networking profiles and activity- which can affect your security and privacy. I also posted an article about protecting your online identity which focuses on phishing attacks against social networking sites. I don't mean to disparage social networking. I like social networking. I have a Facebook and Twitter account. Just make sure you understand the implications of using them, and how to use them as safely as possible.   In the Spotlight Book Review: Googling Security People get pretty upset about their privacy.
