Because you love our country

Dear Fellow Conservative, I’m writing you today to ask you to join me on a mission. It’s not an easy mission, but it’s a crucial one that could change the course of our country forever. Over the past several years, we’ve witnessed our country turn from a republic built upon the principles of liberty into a nanny-state  revolving around entitlement, dependence, collective responsibility, and government intrusion. Our country -- the country you and I love so dearly -- is almost unrecognizable. You see the American people more dependent on government than ever -- and wonder what happened to the entrepreneurial, exceptional American spirit. You see our country vulnerable on the international stage through  a misguided foreign policy and a gutted national defense. You see our country’s media held in the iron grip of liberals who publicly shame conservatives like you and me for our principles. And worst of all, you see an entrenched Washington Establishment which devotes its full efforts to making sure that things stay exactly the same. This must end, and it must end now. It’s time, as Ronald Reagan said, to raise “a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues”. Trying times call for bold measures. And that’s exactly what we at Heritage have planned. We have instituted a major new initiative -- we call it Reclaim America. The goal is simple, the plan is sophisticated, and the outcome will be resounding. Learn more about this historic conservative endeavor -- unprecedented by any policy organization.
